O GOD OUR HELP IN AGES PAST

O God our help in ages past

Our hope for years to come

Our shelter from the stormy blast

And our eternal home.

Before the hills in order stood

Or Earth received her frame

From everlasting, thou art

God To endless years the same.

O God our help in ages past

Our hope for years to come

Be thou our guard while troubles last

And our eternal home.

HYMN - FAITH OF OUR FATHERS

Faith of our fathers, living still

In spite of dungeon, fire and sword

O how our hearts beat high with joy

When-e’er we hear that glorious word

Faith of our fathers, living still

We will be true to thee till death.

Faith of our fathers, God’s great power

Shall soon all nations win for thee

And through the truth that comes from God

We all shall then be truly free.

Faith of our fathers, living still

We will be true to thee till death.

THE LEGION NEEDS YOU

We are looking for community support from you...

The Royal Canadian Legion was established in 1926 with its mission to serve and care for all military veterans and their dependents, to promote perpetual remembrance of those Canadians who fell in war, and to be supportive of our community and our country.

The Legion’s mandate of service includes those currently serving in the Canadian military forces, the RCMP, and their families. Some of the Veterans’ Programs both locally and nationally which we currently support are Parkwood Institute for Veteran Healthcare, Stratford General Hospital Foundation, the Service Dog Program, Homeless Veterans Fund, Last Post Fund, and VAC support for individuals.

Legion members care deeply about supporting the men and women who serve this country and want to make a difference in the lives of Veterans. Please join us in our continuing community work.
