Helping youth and families thrive
in a screen-dominated world

Loreena invites you to join her at the Falstaff Family Centre in Stratford on Thursday November 28th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. for a screening of Screenagers NEXT CHAPTER: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience.

The film examines the science behind children’s emotional challenges, the interplay of social media and what can be done to help them navigate this invasive, screen-fixated age. This is the second of two documentaries we’ve shown at the centre. The first, Screenagers, Growing Up in the Digital Age, was screened here last month and has been shown more than 8,000 times to over four million people.  It’s produced by American physician and award-winning filmmaker Dr. Delaney Ruston, who turns the camera on her own family’s struggles while she consults various experts and explores ways to support children’s mental health.

This second 60-minute documentary, which Loreena hopes will be a springboard to further conversations, will be followed by a moderated 30-minute discussion.
